I'm trying to figure out ways of upping my fibre intake since I'm still having problems with constipation. I am taking psyllium 3 times a day and am taking 1 tsp of olive oil 3 times a day. The constipation isn't acute, but I'm having difficulty staying regular with the candida diet. (Btw, I just convinced my doctor to at least test me for thyroid function, anemia, and other things so we can start chasing down why I am so tired all the time).
Quinoa doesn't seem to be very high in dietary fibre, but I know oats are.
Would quick oats and a malt-free soy-milk be ok for breakfast foods or should I really take the time to cook the raw oats? Soy milk is really ok for the candida diet?
I'm still confused as to why people are eating yoghurt on a candida diet- I thought lactose is something you're suppoed to deny candida as food...
The more I read this forum, the more confused I get.
