How come nobody is eating Dinkel?

I haven't seen it in diet recomendation's, is there something wrong with it? This is what's it called in German, i'm not sure for the name in English - essentialy, it's the "old" or "original" wheat as they call it here. Much like wheat but with the difference it's gluten-free. I make my own bread out of it and it tastes pretty good
