is thyroid usually affected (low body temp)?

Before i found i had candida i was tested for loads of things including thyroid as my hair was thinning and my tsh thyroid hormone was usually normal although each time i had it tested it seemed to get lower. I have a really low morning body temp though and i know this usually associated with thyroid problems. My queestion is; is it common for candida to upset thyroid ? One symptom of hypothyroid is thinning hair which could explain, if they are related, why this can be a problem for sme girls with candida.
