May I ask...

Hi Lapis and everyone,

I'm not a meat eater, I do not use milk, cheese, butter, honey, leather, fur or silk these kind of animal products, however, I found the link written by Mr. Tom Billings as a fair comparison, interesting and quite logical. I read it without being emotionally involved due to the fact that I'm a vegan also. I have not read other things of what this person has said before on other links, but simply based on how this comparison is done alone, it sounds right.

In this comparison, the author just contrasts these two different attitudes and approaches towards 100% Raw (vegan) diet, and has not promoted about meat eating, so just within this comparison, would you mind to point out what he had said that you do not agree with objectively? and why? with references...

I'm seriously curious about this topic, I want to see how people think and react to this and most people who replied to this thread seem to simply be focusing on the badness of meat eating (which is not the subject of this comparison), instead of looking into the argument and comparison the author has stated. It is the comparison between 100% raw vegan diet and non 100% raw vegan diet, not meat diet vs vegan diet. To upset or offend anyone is not my intention, just want to further explore this subject, I would want to know more of the Whys than simply How-Tos.

I can be anything but a "religious" person, I'm not convinced by some "preachy" or sensational writing style, nor I would do things based on faith. I think all I would want to see is some credible scientific research results about 100% raw food (vegan) diet. I have also emailed the registered dietitian, author of Becoming Vegan, Ms. Vesanto Melina and see what she thinks about a 1oo% raw vegan diet without grains, and how it would affect/change the body.

any input here would be appreciated!

Thank you for reading!
