I had been using only the candida diet (http://www.annboroch.com/candida.htm)
to get well after a recent candida relapse, but started making much quickers strides jsut in the few days when my food allergy tests came back. Turns out the diet was working on several levels, the foremost being that it eliminated most of the foods I'm allergic to because they are high in inflammatory properties. Now that I know all the foods I'm allergic to (even ones accepted on the diet), I can move a lot quicker. The danger of the diet is that once you eliminate so many foods, you start to rely on certain ones too much, in my case, eggs. So I was maknig slow progress with fits and starts. However, it was still progress I wasn't able to attain on any herbal medication or wonder drug from the doctor's office, all of which I suspect in making me sick enough to need the diet in the first place.
