Get a probiotic that has millions of live cells per capsule with several strains of probiotic, such as lactobacillus and acidophilus. I've heard of brands with 15 billion live strains. I've found some with 10 billion. Take the pills between meals, not with food.
Also, try very hard to follow a strict diet that eliminates inflammatory foods such as wheat, Sugar and dairy. Otherwise, you're feeding the very yeast you are trying to outnumber with probiotics.
I can't tell you what the cleansing process felt like because I was so sick to begin with. I think all the claims I hear online about die-off and seeing candida in stool are mostly crap. all I know is that when I was on the diet, and included the good bacteria, the probiotics, and chopped up and ate a garlic clove a day, and drank 6-8 glasses of water and took the advice of a good candida specialist, I was well for almost a decade. I relapsed when I went off my very strict diet, and was under a lot of stress.
