Thanks so much. Yes I wish I would have been more educated at the beginning. I followed my doctors orders and found out later that neither of us knew much. She is very pro DAN and anti Andy. I have since changed docs and hope to be on a much better path. Not blaming the DMSA, but lack of education on my part. At the time I was still in the "old" program mode of listening to the doc, for I was "programmed" to think that they know better. It's been quite a year of discoveries. As I said before, I believe DMSA (at safe dosages...it has to be a individualized thing) can benefit the people who's bodies are at a better place than mine was and is. I can't state this strongly enough...Before starting any chemical treatments, one must have a firm understanding of all their organ functions and the state in which those organs are in, PRIOR to treatment. No matter how low the dosages are.

I have read Andy's book and have followed his group on yahoo for quite some time. I do belive his theories and studies have a strong foundation and have found some of his advice to be beneficial. One thing I do know is that I have to allow my body to guide me and not visa versa, as I had been doing in the past. I doubt that I will attempt chemical chelation again even at minimal dosages. My organs are very weakened and my mission right now is to attempt to salvage them as best I can naturally.

I found the taurine you recommended and started on it yesterday. I can't thank you enough for that information!
