This is actually my first post on here. I found these boards a few weeks ago but haven't joined until now. I plan on posting my full story in a new thread so I can get some input from some of the veterans on here.
Anyways, I just wanted to let you know that I am way more symptomatic on my right side of my body. For example, right now, my back hurts on the right lower side, my right hand is very crampy and arthritic today, my right hip is weak and I am having trouble walking. Before I figured out what was wrong with me, I thought I had MS or some type of neurological disorder because only one side of my body was being affected. I did get a brain MRI (which was one of many tests) and everything turned out completely normal. I am not positive that Candida can cause MS like symptoms, but through all of my research I have definitely read that on several different websites...and from my own personal experience, I would say yes.
According to this website - http://www.candidafree.net/pages/1/index.htm - tingling and burning sensations are a candida symptom. Candida obviously seems to vary for every person so I don't think there is ever a definitive answer and it is hard to trust everything you read. I must say it is nice to know when other people have the same symptoms as you and you are not alone because this thing sure can make you feel like you are going nuts sometimes!
If I were you I would get the brain MRI anyways just to check things out. Just so you know, the neurologist I saw told me that many normal healthy people have white matter show up on their MRI so it does not mean that you have MS if you have something like that show up. Hope this helps a little.
