appendix pain

I recently read a post by Jhan recommending taking physillium to clear candida from far end of the colon so I began taking about 5 teaspoons morning and evening. Sure enough I have passed a large quantity of candida in my stool. However for about the last 3 days I have had pain and soreness in my appendix area which is also very painful and tender if I press on that area. Is this caused by the physillium and if so should I not take it inspite of it being so productive? Is there anything I can do to soothe that area?
