Few MDs recognise it, but you might be suffering from candida induced hypothyroisim. I was, and it was by far the most unpleasant experience of my life, to date. There is a chemical given off by the candida that renders the cells in some people unable to use T3. You have plenty of thyroid hormone, but your cells are unable to use it. It is similar to the situation with type 2 diabetes. If it is candida related the symptoms of hypothyroidism will SLOWLY, very slowly improve as the candida is brought under control. Perhaps a bettter name might be candida related T3 cellular resistance.
