Even unsweetened soymilk almost always gave me bloating and a scratchy throat. So I learned to stay away from it. I found a new product called almond milk. You can now buy it unsweetened. They also make a chocolate unsweetened almond milk. You can add stevia to it. Or xylitol. It's great. Made by Blue Diamond, the nut people.
About pancakes: Even though they're buckwheat, they are dense and harder to digest than other foods like veggies. Best to eat them with plenty of sprouts or raw veggies, veggie soup or steamed. 5 parts veg to 1-2 parts pancake. That's macrobiotic yin/yang balance, acid/alkaline.
About food sticking. I don't know about everyone else, but for me when I get that and food or supps won't go down I take iron, folic acid and B12 and it goes away. Especially women still menstruating and having candida and mineral probs, an iron def is possible.
