thrush

I've been dealing with thrush for quite some time. I just recently started a new Candida program taking all kind of stuff, and recently the white patches on the back of my tongue are beginning to turn blackish gray. Is there anything I can do to fight this fungus or candida that is in my mouth. My mouth feels like a muggy, swamp. Sorry, that sounds pretty gross actually. Is this a symptom of die off or just something that is really gross.
