Oh, yeah. A D.O. is more able to accept candida. MDs are bound by what the AMA says and candida is not on their list. Docs could get disbarred for diagnosing a condition that the AMA does not recognize. Also, there ARE MD's who will dx candida (mine did), but they usually do not take insurance, and thus are not bound by the constrictions of those who need insurance to be paid for their livelihood.
