And your presumption that my commitment to natural healing precludes orthodox medicine is flat-out wrong. My internist was the first person I consulted and God bless him, he risked his license by giving me an exam without recording it. If he had, or if I paid a radiologist or other specialist out of my own pocket in order to determine how advanced the cancer was, he said my condition would absolutely end up in the MIBS database disqualifying me for coverage of subsequent treatment (life insurance companies use the same database, btw). Don't you think that if I could have a conization/hysterectomy I would have --and will if my cancer qualifies for surgery? Oh, no need to bother, thank you, I'll just stuff my crumpet with a few of these garlic cloves, baste with olive oil and see what happens. However, that could be just what I'll end up doing if I'm not a candidate for surgery and I'm not knocking it either. My rectum is already so compressed that without round the clock zapping, castor oil, magnesium citrate and senna I would not be able to move my bowels; if the rectum or vagina are involved, surgical options are limited, leaving estrogen suppressing drugs such as tamifoxen (which I was prescribed for fibroids), radiation and chemo, although chemo is normally only used for cervical recurrences as the 'success' rate it only ten per cent. Yes, I should have had a pap smear and I would have if I'd been able to keep appointments. Unfortunately I was the caretaker for first my aunt, then my mother, both of whom died of cancer. Mom was two full-time jobs -- I moved her from a hospital in Queens to Sloan Kettering to Mount Sinai where I pulled strings to get the head melanoma Onco to take her -- anything to boost her chances as she had no interest in any herbs or such. She had two rounds of chemo, then interleukon, which gave her a stroke and caused her ot lose an eye. And although this is an aside, this is just one of the reasons I question medical authorities: Finding out about an excellent melanoma gene therapy study at Sinai, no side effects, just a vaccine made from her own cancer cells, I made an appointment, my mother qualified. And when the doctors found out she was a patient of their boss, they absolutely refused to take her and asked me not to mention they'd even seen me in front of him! My other died miserably but she didn't die alone and so I can't regret the missed pap smear, or the molar that fell out for lack of a dentist or the husband who got a barmaid pregnant, then married her while I was taking care of my mom. Life happens. I've got the most wonderful husband now, I feel terrific physically, largely thanks to the Curezone. And I have confidence that with more education and further persistence I'll find a healing path. Tweet
