New to this forum, but have a question...lung cancer

My father was diagnosed a year ago with lung cancer (was previously a heavy smoker).

He went through radiation & chemo, then another round of chemo. Has been feeling weak, but good. Went in recently for a PET scan and they said it had spread to his pancreas and lymph nodes.

I have read much on alternative therapies for cancer, but i imagine his cancer is now too advanced to even attempt an alternative/juicing phase?

They've given him 6 mo. to one year - if he goes back on chemo. If he chooses not to, they told him a maximum of 6 months.
