I think we all will learn something very important from this tragedy. For those people who do not want to be supported by machines when the body no longer functions to sustain life (resporator, feeding tubes, etc.) they need a living will. The people who want to be kept alive no matter what need to put that in writing too. This way there will be no confusion. One thing I don't understand, if Terri's parents are so concerned about her, why don't they take care of her at their home. They should be the ones incerting the feeding tube, cleaning her, wiping her butt, etc.
