Nine months after replacing my 18 Amalgams in mexico with gold inlays and onlays I still dont like the idea of composite fillings. Gold crowns are as low as $125 there. The only bad thing about them is they have electrical properties but I think that is a minor thing and that overall they are as good or better than composites. They also have a reputation for lasting.
