Ok, With everyone writing me, I just called long distance and her husband responded saying she couldn't speak then......she just gave birth to twins last week and has another 1-1/2 yr old. But he said he thought what helped her the most was the diet......she really changed her diet completely. He felt that PH levels and the cleanses which she did dilengently helped improve overall health but wasn't certain they contributed so much to the MS itself; he felt it was the diet completely. I know she cut out completely refined flours and sugars, no breads at all actually...when I ate at her house she served asparagas to start, then a salad with cold shrimp, no sauces..(the salad might have had a vinagrete sauce, I don't recall). To drink, no sodas, no coffee, but press squeezed apple juice I remember. For dessert it was fresh fruit. I think she also eats protein, I vaguely recall her telling me that she ate some kind of meat for breakfast, which I couldn't envision, but she did. I think she cut out all dairy, no cheeses, no eggs. She snacked on some nuts but none with salt. Her husband said she would call me back and when she does I'll get more specifics about the exact diet and I promise I will write. However I don't know if she will get back to me immediately either. All I know is she looked absolutely SO terrific, one year after her diagnosis and on this diet, she looked so healthy and she felt wonderful. With the twin birth she had some complications with the birth so she isn't feeling 100% now, but it's only been 2 wks also, so I will speak with her eventually but cannot guarantee exactly when (I am also leaving town for a couple weeks), but in the meantime you should start that diet.
