I am scheduled to get my 4 "silver" fillings out in a couple of weeks. I am working with a holistic dentist who will follow the removal protocol. What I am concerned about is what these fillings will be replaced with. I plan on putting in something that is "compatible", but from what I've read, most composites contain toxic materials. There is basically nothing out there that is not harmful (even porcelin). The glues and fillers used are also toxic. So my question is why bother taking out one toxic material and putting in another?? Is it that these "non-metal" fillings are toxic, but perhaps less toxic, so you are choosing the lesser of two evils??
