That is a great technique for self awareness, Journaling. It forces us to admit what we are doing. To actually write down in our journal all that we ate and if we threw up or not, well its extremely difficult. I think with time & forgiveness, journaling becomes easier.
Its a great way to keep track of our progress and what led to relapses. (stress, arguments, boredom, bad day, a certain person, etc...)
