To answer your questions- what I basically eat is - about 250 gm of chicken for breakfast , mushroom soup for lunch and dinner (800gm of mushroom a day) and the whites of 5 eggs. So the total calorie intake would approx. be 600 cals. I think the main reason for my water retention is because of the soups- Like I mentioned I have mushroom soup for lunch and dinner and I make it with a whole lot of water to feel full.(about 2.5 litres of water per soup serving). So I have over 5 litres of water a day(2.5 litres at a time). I make the soup with so much water because it satiates me. My salt intake is about 2g every three days (about a third of a teaspoon).
I am not bulimic and dont purge, so the vomiting thing does not aply to me.
I dont do too much of exercise- only the treadmill at about 3km/hr for a half hour -that burns only 60 calories.
Initially I had generalized edema- My ankles would swell, my hips seemed to bloat up and my jeans would get tight. Now it seems to have moved to my face.
I think that depends on position though. If you lie down more it tends to move up to your face.
