Who's tried Ribavirin?

I was wondering if anyone has tried Ribavirin? I've researched it from the previous post and it sounds wonderful but thought that you couldn't get it in the US. When I searched for it online, it turns out you can get it in the US but is it the same thing as the Ribavirin in Mexico? I'm confused and skeptical...Can anyone help??
