How to Find Good Dentist to Replace Amalgam w/ Healthy Replacement in Los Angeles Area

I'm in desperate need of finding a dentist that can replace my amalgam. My tooth has become infected where the filling is and I'm worried about the toxic effects that could occur b/c of possible mercury spillage. Does anyone know of a good dentist that uses non-toxic remedies in the los angeles area? also, i think i may need a root canal in another tooth...does anyone know of a good dentist in the same area that can give me a healthy alternative approach to this?
