Re: Too much minerals=leg cramps?

Gosh, I really appreciate all the advice! I always thought leg cramps were caused by a lack of magnesium.

Moreless - ever since I discovered magnesium I'm never constipated. In fact I have to be careful not to take too much. Through experimenting I've found I can add a teaspoon of magnesium citrate OR Epsom Salts to my daily drinking water and that's my limit unless I want to do an Oxypowder type Bowel Cleanse ;) After reading many of your messages I now add a teaspoon of calcium citrate. Maybe I should add more calcium? I alternate drinking that water with the concentrace water to get the trace minerals.

The cramps don't seem to have a favorite side. I don't think I eat much that would be calcium depleting. Not much protein or grains and I only drink water and slippery elm tea before meals. I did have a small problem with malabsortion I think but the slippery elm has sure cured that and enhanced my digestion. But maybe by taking so much calcium and mag I'm creating an imbalance of zinc and potassium?

After 3 years of reading curezone I don't have any health problems anymore, just a general pervasive lack of energy, ambition, and motivation, probably caused by not getting enough exercise because I'd just rather read curezone...on my laptop...laying down...
