Hey Farscape

The main point I was trying to make before your surgery is that, in fact, things do change after you have the GB out. I know - mine is gone. It is very subtle at first. It takes about a year before your digestive system changes after the GB is out. You are right, some people have no problems. I still think it's a wake up call to take care of ones health. After I had my GB out, I also kept eating abd as you mentioned. I went all the way up to 243 lbs and start having some serious health problems. TG was upto 477!

I had to wake up - now I weigh about 165 and my cholesterol is near perfect w/o and meds. I have learned to respect my body and to disrespect certain foods.

All I'm saying, man, is don't go down that road, you know where it leads.

Good luck!

(I'm sure you still probably can't figure out why so many people on this board bother to give a damn)
