The stories aren't "irritating" to people who

had problems after gallbladder removal. I hope you continue on not having complications, but why cut an organ out of your body when it's not necessary in most cases?

That's the real question here. I'm all for personal choice, but if doctors had an ounce of understanding about gallbladder flushing, then people wouldn't have to have the surgery in the first place. It's ridiculous to keep insisting that people go ahead with a surgery that can potentially cause complications if they can resolve the problem on their own, through flushing.

Not everyone can flush, nor should everyone do a flush. But the majority of people with stones can safely flush them out, regardless of what doctors say. We have people who have ultrasounds proving that they stones they flushed out were present and then gone. If this is a fact (that the stones can be removed without surgery), then why do you keep insisting that surgery is a good thing?

It costs all of 3-5 bucks and a day or two out of your life, what's the big deal? You'll trust a doctor with a knife in his hand before you'll even TRY a flush?

That's odd to me.
