another sad things is the docs are not even honest with you. if you are someone important... with a little money, they just open the gallbladder and take out the stones... leaving the gb in place. a "keyhole" operation. i'd be surprised if you were given that option, why? insurance won't pay for it.
you may well live long happy and without any problem after you gb removal, i hope it works for you. but, just speaking for myself, i would do almost anything to keep mine because like i said, its not a spare part. and i'm sure that those who come here looking for options don't mind the irritating posts (unless they have already made their mind up), because information is power. and it gives them an option. an option that the vast majority of people who get their gb removed never hear.
