Questran for Chronic Diahrrea

Since many people have symptoms of chronic diahrrea after GB surgery, I thought I would mention that questran helps. The other name for questran is Cholestyramine. It binds up the excess bile acid that are no longer stored but are dump into the colon since you don't have a GB. This allows you to excrete the bile acid. A nice side effect of questran is that it helps you loose weight and it improves your cholesterol profile. Chronic Diahrrea is the most common symptom after surgery.
