Pain in the upper right torso quadrant, especially when eating fat. Unable to sleep, waking up with Gb pain. Though at this point in time I'm always in pain. It took a long time to diagnose because I was stupid. I assumed that doing flushes would resolve the problem. But it never did. I wish I had the HIDA scan sooner. I had three ultrasounds that never showed anything, but my GB just kept getting worse and worse. Now I know I don't have stones, the GB is actually diseased, which I don't think any number of flushes would have cured.
So, I'm waiting to meet with a surgeon. If I can make any suggestions to anyone else, do the flushes, but it you're really in pain, get all the right tests. Don't skimp on the medical help. A HIDA scan should be a requirement.
