Keep in touch. I am 3 and a half weeks out, and got nervous in week 2 that something was really wrong, but got over that hump. None of us who have been cut know the future, but the pain is now different: stitches, feeling "bruised" inside, different acting bowels. Take your time on the food. People will want you to eat up, but ease into it and retrain your body to digest. I just had my first bits of meat a few days ago; still won't touch eggs or whole milk; so it goes. Noon meals are the hardest, possibly because(if you believe this stuff) the body's cicadian rhythm has the liver and nonw missing gallbladder working at peak around midnight. I'm more apt to feel a slight sense of that old upper belly ache after a noon meal than any other time; and that passes quickly and never hits the excrutiating pain stage we all dreaded but grew accustomed to. This is not an active page usually, but strangers around the country will share the post op with you for what it's worth.
