Re: amalgam removal

I've not been in this forum for a while and I have noticed your post hasn't been answered so hope you are still checking. I had a scan done at a new dentist I went to. Cannot remember what it is called but it scanned my whole lower face. It was great and uses a fraction of the radiation one little dental x-ray causes. It showed all the metal in my mouth and I was surprised to see there was some under a couple of crowns as I thought they were all totally porcelain. I am trying to organise the removal of the Amalgam as well and this came as a shock as I barely can afford the molars etc but I am hoping that the Amalgam there isn't so bad as it is covered for the moment.
