Re: Is drug use idol worship? its witchcraft and pharmakia

not idol worship. Name the idol you think anyone is worshipping please.

Pharmakia is an integral part of witchcraft and satanism. You need the counterfeit emotional and euphoric states induced with chemicals to worship the devil.

Idol worship is a different sin altogether, an erection of another god on the throne of your life, typified by a house of worship or a shrine of worship with a deity depicted in some artform. You can't have idol worship with no idol being present.

Now it is true there can be no 'thing' present, as then the area or house would suggest the presence of the lesser god who is recieving obeisance. In such cases it is possible to worship an unkown god, as Paul once preached in a house of such worship. His preaching, however was not to identify a deity to make a statue to worsip in that house, but to direct this crowd of seekers to Jehovah.
