Thanks for the tip, but I'm just going to stay with drinking water when I feel that pain. It works for me.

From what I've read, the gallbladder kicks in when the body is trying to digest fat(http://www.hmc.psu.edu/healthinfo/g/gallstones.htm). So when I drink a lot of water, it dillutes the amount of fat in my stomach, and then my gallbladder doesn't need to work as hard.
Or at least that's my theory, but it's worked sense for me.

The only time I get gallbladder pains is after I've had a fatty meal.

How about you? When do you get pain?
