Re: bowel problems in a 1 year old! (a little long)

Thanks Spirit,

Well, to start: We are vegetarian and nearly completely vegan and very very careful with all nutrients. We eat a lot of raw fruit and veges, ground flax, flax oil, barley max, carrot juice . . . My son drinks enough water to keep 2 children going well. He has also taken probiotics. I've done it all!

He has never had Antibiotics , vaccinations etc . . . and we eat organic whenever possible and my own homegrown veggies as long as they last at harvest (usually into the middle of the winter).

I have tried homeopathic treatments, chiropractics, naturopath, natural remdies, massage, etc . . . with little help. There is no one else in my area. Medical doctors still refuse to see a problem even though my baby has exema come out often when his bowels don't work.

He doesn't respond to natural herbal remedies for constipation or lack of motility. The main one has been 'Experience' a herbal product that teaches the bowel to function properly, it works very effectively for me and my husband, but not my baby.(I am careful not to use anything that he would become dependant on, the senocot he used for 12 days only 5 months ago).

This is why I'm so concerned when he is often only going 1-2 times per week, and not necessarly well then.
