Re: Carla, this is exactly my problem! Terry

Terry- First of all. I recall Dr. Schulze saying not to do it for longer than 2 weeks a couple times per year.
Second if I were you, I'd make my own and experiment. Write down exactly how much of what you put in, so you can find out what is causing the pain. My suspicion in your case is the cascara, so reduce or eliminate it from your capsules altogether. He recomends in the begining to reduce both senna and cascara by 1/2. Maybe alternate days too, would benefit you. Take one every other day. You need to do what feels right for you.
You have multiple health problems. I'd sure be tempted to find a good strong support person and do the entire incurables program. I also picked up a hint of wanting to remain ill.(PLease don't stop reading) This is not uncommon, it is a real dilemma though. Look at how you benefit from staying the same, what do you get out of it? Also look at the people around you. Who is helping you stay ill? What's in it for them? Examples: If I'm in the sick role my husband gets to blame me for lots of things, my son doesn't really have to listen, these guys get sympathy from others, and I'm a great scapegoat. My husband gets to feel like a savior for sticking it out, He can feel superior and powerful. How I benefit: I can sleep all day, I don't have to clean the house, work, cook or be responsible for things like bills.
Sometimes a vacation alone is in order to sort it out. NOt a weekender, at least a week. Find you again, then look at those around you with a different perspective. Try being away for a month. Find someone you can stay with, a friend, an Aunt, cousin so it doesn't cost a fortune. Dr. Schulze says illness is physical, emotional, psychological and spiritual. I've seen this and he is so right! Find support, counseling, trusted friends, a massage therapist, (a good intuitive one, that does intense bodywork) You could go to Impact training, (Salt Lake City) or a mastery training or a centerpointe retreat, ask around. These things are like 4 years of therapy in a weekend.
I don't mind e-mails so you could e-mail me, be sure the subject mentions this forum, so I don't delete it.......If you do not have the recipe's definately e-mail me......Carla
