18th Century French Vitalists!

Mmmm mmmm! I love those Vitalists! I think that if I were to be an 'ist' at all....I'd have to be a Vitalist. yes.

The lemon got me thinking...

The Vitalists from France were a group of people who measured the 'vitality' of foods (among other things) with a special meter they invented. (based on dowsing/electromagnetic fields...I think!?) They measured the body and using their scale the body vibrated at 6,000 of their units. Their philosophy was that you should NEVER put anything into your body that vibrated BELOW 6,000 units...for that would reduce your overall vitality and health. They believed that if you always ate highly Vital food...then YOU would be vital.

They noticed that most foods lost their vitality the more they sat. Milk was very vital right out of the cow...but a few hours later it had lost most of it's vitality. They measured everything. And it was interesting that the most vital of all foods was...Olive Oil!! (yay, Liver Flushers!) Even when the olive oil had been jarred for years - it barely lost any of it's vitality! cool eh? It vibrates at 9,000. I can't find much information on them on the internet. I first read about them in the book, The Holographic Universe by Michael Talbott (very interesting).

That's all!

Stay Vital....eat foods that are ALIVE!! (and happy)
