Switch hands. You can work your feet in a similar way. Grab a foot with both hands and walk your thumbs across the bottoms of it. Apply pressure wherever you feel pain. Then switch feet. If a headache is really bad it is hard to apply enough pressure, so maybe you can get someone else to do it for you.
