Getting rid of mucoid plaque

From what I've been reading and researching on this site, it looks like the P&B shakes are the only way to remove mucoid plaque. Is this true or am I misinformed? I honestly hate the shakes, it would be awesome to know if there is another way to get rid of mucoid plaque.

I'm doing the Master Cleanse, for those of you who have done this, it is too much on the body to do the salt flush and the shakes, or should I do one or the other? I haven't tried the tea, but from what I've been reading this doesn't have a huge effect on people and their BM's. I want to make sure I'm having at least one good BM everyday. I'm leary about the salt water flush too. Usually this gives me a BM within hours, but once I did it at night, and had a BM at the next morning. I thought I was done, but later that day while at the store I felt like I was going to have a movement all over the floor! I made out the store, but didn't make it to the house. I don't want this to happen again, that's why I don't know if I should do the salt flushes anymore.
