Re: Essential fatty acids

Andreas I have read and heard alot of information and facts all concluding that we do need efa's and that they can't be manufactured internally so must therefore be taken either as a supplement or incorporated into the diet.
I claim to be an expert of nothing but am surprised to hear this point of view. Are you saying that we don't need them at all or that in a perfect world with perfect health and diet we wouldn't need to take any efa's? I am always interested in learning and am curious as to your theory.
Also I would like to add that I am familiar with the popular but false claim that milk provides the body with more calcium than anything else but I have never considered the idea of taking efa's for health a common one!
Care to enlighten me?
