You can learn about this relationship from my website, see pages below, or from my book, The Amazing Liver & Gallbladder Flush. The liver cells make bile and pass it to the gallbladder for storage and undergoing changes necessary for the digestive process. Bile production increases may increase with increased demand, but always occurs. However, how much bile ends up going into the gallbladder depends on how open the bile ducts are in the liver.
