Re: billary colic ( gall stones )
"when you eat fat, the precence of fat in the duodenum ( the tube leaving the stomach ) causes release of a chemical called Cholecystokinin that makes the gall bladder expell its concentrated bile through the cystic and common bile duct and saturates the fatty food in the duodenum. This bile breaks down and emulsifies that fat to make it digestable."
Does this mean that if you don't eat fat that cholecystokinin will not be released and if so what happens to the bile? Does it build up, does the liver stop producing it until more is needed ( I assume this is how sperm production works) or does it get released anyway?
"How can you say that ?? YOU DECIDE : What is cheaper, to undego surgery that cost the NHS / Health Insurance several thousands of
pounds / dollars per patient, or to give patients a bottle of olive oil and lemon juice and a pot of
Epsom Salts . Any right minded government / insurance company would jump at the chance of treatment of cholecystitis for just a few
pounds / dollars."
I do not know of any research that has been done on this but I could be wrong?? I know that it has helped me and my family tremendously and judging by the posts on this board has helped countless others. If indeed it is helping people to avoid surgery I don't understand why the research has not been done. One doctor I know told me that if she supported
Liver Flushes she would not suggest them to her patients for fear of losing her license. That was when I decided that if I was not going to be presented with all options from my doctors then I would have to investigate on my own. I am really happy that I did.
I appreciate the time you have taken to respond. I am no expert on this, I only know what has worked for me and unfortunately have had very bad experiences with the medical profession so I apologize if I sound critical.
