Re: edema - shelleycat
ah yes... trying to help others who won't help themselves. What a total pain! heheheheh.
Okay. Here's something I've learned the hard way. EVERYone has their own personal timing in terms of when they are ready to recognize and deal with something. That goes for health, work, religion, everything. It's why I don't "evangelize" anything unless someone asks me. I just set an example. When someone asks a question such as "how do you manage to stay so young" or whatever, then I tell them about liver flushes. If they complain about feeling ill, I tell them, I can help, when you're ready, *let me know*. Until they let me know, beg me for info, I don't tell them a thing.
For men, this rule goes double. It's in their very cells to be stubborn, because their egos are so insecure they have to think they thought of it themselves. You've given your husband a new idea about health management, the fastest way to get him to accept it is to drop the subject forever. That way, when he's ready, he can act and even think like it was his own idea! LOL! Think about it. I bet he's done this in the past with other things like Xmas decorations, whatever! LOL!
It's very important to respect people's timing, otherwise you may actually slow down their growth and evolution.
