I stopped drinking milk and eating oranges

Subject: *Other Question*

My hyperactive son was born 7 years ago. Throughout that pregnancy I
was totally exhausted. I felt movement at a very early stage and he
was very active in the womb!

In the late stages I was in hospital having his movements checked due
to blood pressure. The nurses fell about laughing. Apparently they
had never seen such an active baby! He just didn't stop. He also
hiccuped a lot.

I noticed that everytime I drank milk he would get more active. I
did think it was strange but dismissed it as me being neurotic!

The other strange thing was that throughout the pregnancy I couldn't
bear to touch fruit, especially oranges. On the day I went into
labour though I suddenly had a huge craving!

We use diet and supplements with him now and oranges are one of the
few foods he still can't eat.

Although me and my husband don't have allergies we both come from
families with a history of migranes, hayfever, eczema, asthma etc.

The group that helped me in the UK, Hyperactive Children's Support
Group, did some research once on this and found that a lot of babies
were active in the uterus. A lot of the babies also had colic. I was
feeding him myself and found the colic disappeared as soon as I
stopped drinking milk and oranges.

Hope this helps.

Wendy
