"By the way, my husband's also ADHD although my little girl of 5 seems
to be ok so far!"
There is a school of thinking that suggests being ADHD is simply a difference and not a disadvantage. There are many ways in which we can use our ADHD skills to overcome the problems society throws at us.
If you see ADHD as a disorder or a disadvantage, you pass this on to your children and make them feel bad.
My advice would be to find special ways of teaching and looking after your ADHD family members and always remembring that they are gifted and have different ways of thinking about and coping with the world.
