Does MC help tumors?

Hi everyone,

My mother is 85 and has a tumor on her spine. (not Cancer, but slow growing kind)She has had 2 surgeries to remove as much as possible, as it is too close to the spinal cord to remove completely. It is causing numbness again and she must go with a walker.(same symptoms as before previous surgeries) The Dr. is hesitant to do another surgery. Has anyone had any experience with tumors? Also, is 85 years old too old to do a MC. Would it be a problem?
