Re: Cortizone Injections..for scoliosis

I was in pain and lookin up info on cortizone injections. I came across Laura Lees message....she has had the same herrington rod surgery as me. I am also having major low back pain that goes into my hips. I went to a spinal specialist who told me they don't have enough research on scoliosis patients, and have no proof they have pain after surgery. He told me to do sit-ups and sent me on my way....I don't feel I can live with this pain for the rest of my life. I am only 28 and have been in pain most of my life. I'm stuck without any doctor who believes me. I've done therapy also with no relief. I'm wondering if anybody out there thinks this shot would work for me. Is there anybody else out there with scoliosis and having the same pain as Laura and I??? Tweet
