That is always a problem with any practitioner. I think the important thing is to be as well read as possible and to get as many different opinions as possible and then take from that well of knowledge what works for you. We are all different and something that works for someone else may not be right for you.
I disagree with quite a bit of what Kathryn Alexander says but I think in general she explains health issues very well. My Mom sent me a copy of her book which is where I got the URL from. She is very well known in Australia and has a very good reputation but since I have not been to see her personally, I cannot express an opinion on that.
I though it would be interesting to share because while what she says is not really new and can be found in numerous other health sites, sometimes it is helpful to others to hear it expressed in a different way.
