Hi Betta,
She goes into quite a bit more detail in the book especially with regards to calcium / magnesium & sodium / potassium pumps, vitality and liver function. Almost half of the book covers recipes, eating plans and the nutrient value of foods and for me these hold no value. The recipes are vegetarian and cover the basics such as cooked cereals, salads and dressings and then lots of legume, vege and grain dishes, some of which look quite good (I don't eat beans so they have no value for me).
Personally I really enjoyed the book. I like the way she explains and she definitely goes into a lot more technical detail than most alternative books. I got a better understanding of mineral pumps (mentioned above) which I had never really understood before so for this info alone the book was a good addition to my library. This section however, was only 1 chapter. I have also read a lot on liver function, diet and on the Gerson therapy (her basis of training) so I did not find the rest of the book very enlightening. For this info her web site is superior to the book.
I don't know if this helps you. If I can provide any more info please let me know.
Anna
