Re: Tapeworm Skin Without the Worm - help!
Ana,
I love
juicing too, it feels so nutritious! I have been kind of lax though. I will have to find some more recipes. :)
I actually had a stool test taken 7 years ago when I was 14. I was a sickly child with constant headaches, so my mom took me to an evironmental medicine doctor who suggested the test. He said I had a high IgE count of 1900, which is a sign of parasites. The test came out negative though, so my mom crossed
parasites off the list. He never mentioned that the stool tests are usually inaccurate and I've recently read that they are. I have been to numerous doctors since then and they never mentioned parasites.
It was not until this last year that I became deathly ill. I was always on the thin side, but this year I dropped drastically in weight. I could barely eat two bites of anything without gagging or almost vomiting it. I would try to eat anyway, but kept loosing weight nomatter how hard I tried to keep it.
At this point, my parents were considering having me hospitalized, but I wasn't ready to put my life in the hands of doctors. In the end, if I had never fasted 3 days and discovered that worm in the toilet, it may have been too late for me. I have a lot to be thankful for!
My family doctor thought I had severe allergies to food because none of his tests showed anything to be wrong. Even to this day, my doctor claims that
parasites are only a third world country problem and that I am a very rare case. I have never traveled, but I have always loved animals and surely kissed my pets growing up!
anyway, that's more of my story!
