You are correct. That is one of the reasons why I didn't subject myself to a biopsy even though my doctor was insistent. A 42 year old guy with no urinary tract infection and no "gravel" with a high PSA score, increases the odds of cancer. An elevate PSA score by itself doesn't mean much of anything. The conventional treatment for prostate cancer is a crime in my opinion. The cut and burn alternatives leave men incontinent, impotent, and wearing diapers more often than not.
